Posts of Dadeldhura

The only district in Sudur Paschim without an airport, Dadeldhura is renowned for being the home and constituency of the top politician of Nepal- Sher Bahadur Deuba. The region witnessed Haliya (bonded laborers) protests in September 2019, stemming from dissatisfaction with their supposed emancipation.

The region also holds potential as a national park site, as the camera captured some images of a tiger at an elevation of 2,500 meters in Dadeldhura. This sighting marked the highest alleviation of tiger sightings in Nepal at that time, although the record was later broken when a tiger was sighted in Ilam.
